Not So New Mathew tells the story of the residents of New Town, a shiny city build entirely of clean, new materials. Mathew, on the other hand, is built of repurposed, discarded parts, with legs made of old springs and tin-can arms tied with string. With Mathew's help, the robots living in New Town learn how to recycle their waste, and how they can use old materials to reinvent themselves and their town.

This title is my seventh book in partnership with BookLife Publishing, and it pushed me to really explore my style and use my imagination to create characters and scenes I was previously unfamiliar with working on. This project allowed me to experiment with drawing new subject matter and expanding my style to be more versatile and adaptable to new ideas.
