For this self-guided project, I created five images under the theme of 'Acts of Kindness'. I wanted to illustrate some scenes showing ways that we can be kind to each other and do nice things; for these images, I chose to depict a lemonade stand, knitting clothes for donations, walking dogs, making breakfast in bed, and sheltering someone from the rain.

For this project, I focused mainly on adapting my style to be more expressive and textured, adding a lot more light and shade as well as textured overlays to create depth and interest within the images. I feel that these small changes in style really bring these illustrations to life and give them a lot of personality, so I am looking forward to exploring this style more in future projects.
